Events of the animated film 'Boruto: Naruto the Movie' takes place a few years after the end of the Shinobi War and tells about the adventures of the son of the legendary ninja Naruto Uzumaki young Boruto, who dreams of achieving the same fame as his father and even surpassing him. Naruto became the Seventh Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village and spends a lot of time at work, which greatly distresses Boruto and even leads to misunderstandings and tensions between father and son. Like his father, he has a strong character, energetic, inattentive and very restless. Inborn talent led to the development of excessive self-confidence, which prevents Boruto from working in a team.
Together with the rest of the team, Boruto was entrusted with the task of catching a ferocious bear, which must be sent to Konohamaru's teacher. However, even this not very difficult mission turns into a game for Boruto, where the main role is assigned only to him and to no one else. Having met the main opponent of his father — Sasuke Uchiha, Boruto asks Sasuke to become his teacher, but will Naruto's father approve of this? But Boruto is much more afraid not of his father’s anger, but of fear for his life, as he learns the news that his father was captured. Now the young ninja is given a chance to show all his abilities in order to save his father.
